Mrs. WH EVANS of Kirkpatrick died in Culver Hospital on Tuesday morning. Funeral services were held yesterday with burial at Oak hill. Mr. and Mrs. SN Moody attended the funeral. Mrs. Evans was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Baker ENGLISH and was born in Waveland June 10, 1880. She spent her girlhood here and was married to Will HASTADAY who is dead and later to WH Evans, who survives. There are two children, Owen and Dolly Hastaday; the mother, Mrs. Emma English and five brothers, Harry of Gary; Charles of Lebanon; Fred of Frankfort and John and Ray of Clinton, Ill. This is the first break in the family circle. Baker English died in the house now occupied by Mr. Walker. - kbz
